Our key goal in estimating is communication with our contractors that ensures that the scope is fully met and covered without any overlap with other trades bidding different sections. Full specification compliance is a must when tendering our projects and if the specifications are missing information we always ask the question to the architect.

We want to make sure that we have the right price for the project and all though this doesn't always equal an award, with the inconsistencies of pricing in today's market the value add we offer our contractors is knowing that our number is the benchmark when evaluating other bids.
