Description: Integrating a historic church with a new addition is an emerging trend by using glass, aluminum and stainless steel. The addition uses 1600 series unitized and site glazed 2 sided vertical SSG system. Large clear thermo glass units to allow light to pour into the building while controlling the sunlight with Custom stainless steel structure attached to the exterior of the curtain wall and coloured horizontal glass sunshade louvers to diffuse the intensity of light coming into the building. Also the main entrance incorporates a steel structure in which we attached an inverted point load spider fitting glass canopy. Hiding the mechanical roof top units we supplied and installed an HSS steel structure to support a curtain wall system with ceramic frit tempered glass. All interior glass partitions, balustrades and mirrors where all supplied and installed by Stouffville Glass Inc.
